In this series we will study the many healing and magickal properties of commonly used herbs, which many already have in our kitchen and garden. We will begin each class with a guided meditation to connect with and communicate with the plant spirits. We will then discuss and discover the folklore and known remedies for each herb, both medicinally and magickally. Then, using such knowledge and our own intuition we will craft different take-home goodies each week.

Week One: Cordial and Tincture Making (January 11th)

In this workshop we will work with yummy tasting and healing herbs along with seasonal fruits to create cordials to be consumed with the intentions specific to each maker’s desires.
We will also create magickal tinctures using herbs commonly used in the kitchen and home, along with crystals for added healing and power.
These creations will be a treasured addition to any medicine cabinet or witch’s apothecary and also great for gift giving.
Week Two: Incense, Bath Salts, Dressed Candles (January 18th)
In this class we will combine various herbs and resins and will blend by hand in a mortar and pestle to create incense powder to be burned on charcoal, add to salt for a healing ritual bath salt and we will create a custom intention candles by “dressing” some 7 day ritual candles with this blend along with oil and crystals.
Week Three: Spell Jars Oils and Sprays (January 25th)
In this class we will explore and blend various combinations of herbs to create custom spell jars, intention oils (can be used a blessing oil, body oil, or bath oil), and Magickal Aura sprays (can be used as a body spray or smudge spray)
