Notorious for her particular sense of humor and pathos (Ma) Sherry Glaser found success in show business for 40 years. She is the star and author of 4 Solo shows including Off-Broadway's longest running one woman show, FAMILY SECRETS, the wildly popular comedy of biblical proportions, OH MY GODDESS! and the radical ADVENTURES OF SUPER ACTIVIST MOTHER. Sherry is a long time political activist founding the peace activist group Breasts not Bombs in 2005. In 2011 she opened the 1st medical cannabis dispensary in the village of Mendocino and subsequently based her show TAKING THE HIGH ROAD on that experience. Sherry has done stand up comedy, taught improvisation and workshops in emotional alchemy since 1999. Sherry is a published author of her memoir FAMILY SECRETS and a collaboration with her mother Shelly called, THE FIRST PRACTICAL HANDBOOK FOR CRAZY PEOPLE Sherry is in the process of publishing a revolutionary book titled, MAMA'S FIRST POCKET CHICKTIONARY (A female equivalent to the dicktionary) which will be available on Lulu.com this summer. Sherry was performing OMGS! in Berkeley when the Pandemic hit and sent her packing home to Mendocino where she crossed paths with the indomitable Cynthia Levesque and became the Crone and Tarot reader in residence at the Mendocino branch of Loot and Lore.
